Treat your tastebuds to delightful dining as you explore the cuisine on show at your Village. From Asia to Europe, the Americas to home, Eat Street at Glenrose Village will have you coming back for seconds! Check out our favourites from each venue below.
Ajmer’s Indian Restaurant
Ajmer’s has been dishing up brilliant Indian delicacies for years and won’t be slowing down any time soon! Their curries are full of flavour and prepared using traditional ingredients and techniques. If you’re visiting for the first time, we recommend the Rogan Josh, a mildly spicy lamb curry cooked with Kashmiri spices. Pair it with jasmine rice to complete your dish for only $19.90.
Momokko Japanese Restaurant
Momokko brings the calming influence of authentic Japanese dining to the bustling Eat St. You can escape work for lunch with a miso cream salmon or share a few dishes with the family. We can’t go past the Premium Wagyu Beef, pan grilled with a teriyaki finish for $26. All their mains are served with rice, miso soup, and salad.
Stella Blu Kitchen and Pizzeria
Stella Blu put the Northern Beaches spin on traditional Italian cooking. Their beautifully styled restaurant wouldn’t look out of place on a Roman side-street, and neither would the food. $27 will get you their famous Pesto Potato Gnocchi, accompanied with semi-dried tomatoes, pecorino and stracciatella cheeses. Their pizzas are fantastic too, but we can’t pick just one. You’ll have to get some friends together and tick them off!
The New Civic
The New Civic is everything an American diner is supposed to be – bold in styling and in flavour. They plate up some of the heartiest (and messiest) dishes going and boast a breakfast menu the Northern Beaches can be proud of. If we had to pick one menu item you had to tuck into above all else, the Raging Bull Double Cheeseburger reigns supreme. For $17.50 you’ll get two thick cut beef patties, double jack cheese, streaky bacon and an assortment of condiments that includes the TNC secret sauce. Extra points if you can keep your shirt clean!
Taste Baguette reflects the Parisian influence found in Vietnamese cuisine. Their bakery supplies Belrose with decadent pastries, cakes, and coffee, as well as their selection of lunch baguettes they’re so aptly named after. You can pick up their Classic Banh Mi with the lot for just $11.70, complete with Vietnamese pork, pate, pickled veggies, roast pork belly and crackling fried egg. If you’re after something a little sweeter, check out their display case for tarts and slices that will leave your taste buds thanking you.
The team at Thai Kitchens personify the phrase service with a smile. They’re always looking to make sure you leave completely content, something that is evident in their food. We love the Chilli and Lemongrass Chicken stir fry for just $18.90. You can pair it with your choice of jasmine, coconut, egg fried, or garlic fried rice.
The dining options extend into Glenrose Village, including The Honest Chicken, Michel’s, Three Beans Cafe, and Glenrose Sushi – all perfect options for a takeaway meal that doesn’t substitute flavour or quality. Whatever you’re craving, Glenrose Village’s assortment of restaurants have you covered.
